I love shopping at Dollar Tree for things I need around the house, as well as for arts and crafts. There are so many ways the Dollar Tree can help you DIY, with household goods, and so much more. They even have food items there these days and most of the time, it’s pretty good stuff. When it comes to saving from the Dollar
Tree, you need to look at what you get for $1 (everything is only $1 in the entire store).
It is possible to save more when you buy in bulk or by extreme couponing but when you’re just looking to pop into the store and quickly pick up a few essentials, the Dollar Tree is my favorite place to visit. You can really get some fantastic goodies in here and when it comes to household cleaning and organization stuff, it’s one of my favorite places to shop. They also have a lot of craft and DIY items but I’ll save that for a future post (stay tuned).
So let’s take a look at this Dollar Tree haul I brought home for less than $15.
These scents are really awesome and they last for a long time. I put them in the laundry room, in our coat closet (where the kids also put their shoes) and even in the kitchen. They go above and beyond your average air freshener and actually absorb the bad smells.
I also got these dishwasher tabs that work just as well as the expensive ones I buy from Walmart or the grocery store but 10 for $1 is a pretty decent deal.
I also got kitchen trash bags, two laundry baskets, a new dustpan (has the rubber piece on the end of the plastic, making it more efficient), a Spiderman toothbrush for my son, some Minion band aids, and two bottles of acetaminophen. You really can’t beat the prices and I love it when I find great deals like the Spiderman and Minion goodies.
You can easily pay top dollar for these items at another store but I walked away with all of this for under $15.
